Six Dice Variation

I invented this one to speed along the game when players are short on time. Buy 4 extra dice and on each roll, each player rolls all four dice. You can use any combination from any or all of the dice just so the grand total is 12 or less. Here is an example of how this might work. Let's say your four dice show as follows:

Now You can pick one or more dice to build these results:

1 alone
3 alone
6 alone
3+6 = 9
3+1 = 4
3+4 = 7
6+4 = 10
1+4 = 5

You pick whichever combination puts you in the best position on the board. You will find that this variation speeds up the game a bit and gets rid of complaints of "I never get a good roll!". Some rolls will produce fewer combinations than those shown in the example above.

To really speed up the game if it starts to drag, add in the original two dice and roll all six on every turn! It is possible to get every number from 1 to 12 on a single roll with six dice.
